Working with the Creative Solutions Group of Troy, MI, we created an interactive kiosk/camera/printer/database system for Volkswagen of America. The exhibit is a fun experience for the user where they place their hand in the reader area of the kiosk, and it then “reads” your palm via USB camera and computer system. The image of the palm then appears on a touchscreen, and the attendant draws the over the lines on the palm picture that resemble the VW logo. It prints out the image after the visitor has entered their email address. The email addresses were collected in a database on the local computer and were downloaded after each event and forwarded to VW for further contact. The exhibit travels throughout the country to specialty events and shows.
